Description

A superb Regency mahogany reading table, with adjustable tilting top, chamfered corners, edged in a decorative ebony inlay. The slope is adjusted by a brass mechanism to the underside of the table. The table stands on a beautifully turned column, and very pretty ebony inlaid tripod, which terminates in delicate gold ball feet. There are historic restorations to the piece, as is quite usual in a well loved period antique piece. This is a very striking antique table, typical of the Regency period and would add style to any interior.
