Description

Very attractive simple French all iron bedstead with star detail decorative castings. Very sturdy construction with the traditional jigsaw fittings. We have sympathetically restored this bed which has been shot blasted and hand finished in aged Little Greene paint company mid lead. Side rails have been lengthened , strengthened and adapted to support wood slat base and to fit a standard modern king size mattress size 150cm x 200 cm.

Head board height 129cm; foot board height 90cm; side rail height 24cm

Overall width 152cm; overall length 213cm.

Price includes pine slats (sorry not mattress)

As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply mini box bases 2" with platform top as used for photograph or 4" with springs for superior mattress support. We can also supply hand made mattresses in all comfort choices. Please see our own web site for details or e mail to request.
