An Antique Waltham 'Sterling' Silver Pocket Watch

1900 - 1920
Description

An antique Waltham 'Sterling' silver pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed and it has the serial number 13,753,028 which dates it back to 1904. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 53mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is 935 silver (so slightly purer than sterling silver) and it has Swiss hallmarks inside both of the case backs. The overall condition of the case is good with just one slight indentation to the back.

The lens has light marking but is very acceptable.

The white enamel dial has a couple of hairline cracks.
