Description

An elegant antique Edwardian mahogany inlaid bow front glazed bookcase / cabinet. A very stylish and unusual piece with shaped legs and pelmet and bow front. In a well figured mahogany with chequered banding inlay and attractive escutcheons and hinges. To the interior are three baize lined shelves with mahogany fronts and it comes with a working lock and key. A high quality decorative piece in good condition with wonderful patina, it would make an ideal bookcase or display cabinet. Dating from circa 1905.

Mahogany

Condition Report:

Good condition. Wear and marks commensurate with age. Door sticks out at top slightly. Lock is a replacement. Some small marks to glass – appears original. Very good patina.
