Description

Extraordinary carved and painted wooden statue of the infant Christ c.1890. Striking allegorical pose, stood on a globe and crushing the serpent. Impressive size, standing 36" tall. Excellent original condition with the exception of wire and pins which have been added at some point to stop the lower arms from coming loose.
