Victorian Pine Blanket Box

Description

A classic late Victorian flat top blanket box, in very good condition. With its original penny-end strap hinges and supporters to the lid. This box would have originally been used as a seat as well as storing blankets or linen.

Nowadays these boxes make an excellent coffee table alternative, or toy boxes, or just used for your general storage needs.

Stripped of its original paint it is now in the bare wood ready for waxing or painting. The price for waxing this item is £32
