Description

A superb freestanding Victorian burr walnut piano top davenport. The piano shaped lid lifts to reveal a sliding drawer with an adjustable green leather writing slope and compartments for pens and ink wells etc. Between the 2 interior drawers is a sprung catch which opens the galleried top to reveal a well fitted stationary compartment. The right hand side with 4 drawers and the opposite side with false drawers, all with brass pulls. The top supported on well carved cabriole legs to a shaped plinth with turned feet and sunken castors. In very good condition with mahogany linings and working locks and keys.

Size - Height 37'' / 94cm. Width 22.5'' / 57cm. Depth 22.5'' / 57cm. Delivery to most of U.K. Mainland £48.
