A Ww2 Era Gents Omega Wrist Watch

1920 - 1940
Description

A WW2 era Omega wrist watch.

The watch has a 30 T2 SC hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed and it has the serial number 9,781,637 which dates it back to the first half of the 1940s.

The watch measures 32mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case has some surface marks but overall it is in good condition for a 1940s piece. The inside of the case back has the Omega triangular stamp.

The lens is in good order.

The signed dial has a little marking, and some darkening to the outer minute track, but overall very acceptable for a 1940s piece. The minute hand and centre seconds hands are later replacements but still vintage and in keeping with the style of the originals.

A later black leather strap has been fitted.
