Description

This is an antique, late Victorian triple bookcase dating to c.1900.

Beautifully made in three sections that bolt together, the bookcases are configurable and can be used in a straight run as shown, as a single and a double, or as three individual pieces. Brass lugs locate inside each case allowing the shelves to be positioned as desired.

Raised on a bracketed plinth, the case displays good, consistent colour and grain detail throughout and is backed with panelled boards. The top lips with an edge moulding and the stiles triple fluted for decoration.

Versatile and elegant with solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
