An impressive four door breakfront bookcase in Burr Walnut. Of excellent construction in solid walnut and attractive burr walnut veneers onto a solid oak carcass. Well made in the Queen Anne style by the reputable London firm of Bartholomew and Fletcher. This capacious bookcase has four glazed doors above four cupboard doors. Each door opens to access a shelved interior. The shelving in the top glazed sections is adjustable. The whole bookcase stands on elegant cabriole legs with shell applied carving to the knees. Further carved decoration can be found to the waist and the cornice of the bookcase. This bookcase has a lovely warm colour and patina and is offered for sale in excellent condition, ready to go straight into the home. For ease of transportation and installation it easily breaks down into several sections.
