The broad rim with a deep moulded edge, above a tapering body with ring and ogee profile bands, resting on a cup and socle short column, and a spreading circular base, with ring and ogee profiling as per the body. The whole on four ball feet. The bucket decorated with ebonized banding/edging, feet and socle. The bucket complete with a hinged brass loop handle, and lift out brass liner.
Date c 1850.
Height 17 inches, diameter 14 3/4 inches not including the handle.
