The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working well. The signed movement has the serial number 17,655,880 which dates it back to around 1910. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop.
The case has an indentation to the back and the engine turned detail has worn but overall the condition is very acceptable for an antique piece.

The watch glass has light marks.
The signed white enamel dial is in lovely condition.
The watch comes with a silver double albert, only hallmarked on the clasps but all testing as being silver. Each chain measures 27cm long including the T-bar and the clasp. Also a silver plated sovereign holder… at some stage in its life, the sprung centre has been removed and replaced with velvet.
