A Small George II Solid Mahogany Chest-of-drawers

Description

A fine quality mid-18th century CHEST-OF-DRAWERS in particularly good original condition.

Constructed in solid "San Domingo" mahogany, the well figured top features solid 'ogee' mouldings to the front and sides. Below are two small and three long graduated drawers, all of which are lined in oak and all retain their original brass plate handles and iron locks (with original keys).

It is supported on good solid mahogany bracket feet and measures just 28.5ins wide; 32ins high and 16.5ins deep. (72 x 81 x 42cms). A gorgeous and early little chest.
