Late 19th century French bronze sculpture of a pheasant, signed in the bronze J.Moigniez. This bronze has fine detail with a bronzed gilt patination.

J.Moigniez born 28th May (1835-1894) was a French animalier sculptor who worked during the 19th century producing high quality bronzes. He specialized in birds and hunting scences. He was considered one of the most talented sculptors of his time.
