A Solid Mahogany 20 Drawer Collectors Cabinet Circa 1900.

Description

An excellent solid mahogany 20 drawer collectors cabinet circa 1900 in very good condition.

This cabinet was originally designed for the protection and display of a collection of british butterflies but will lend itself to a multitude of collecting pursuits and especially as a "family archive". This use has been adopted by many of our clients who have compiled and curated a collection of significant family items and mementos to produce a lasting record of the family and it's times. These can range from grandfathers medals to the first born's first milk tooth!

A very good cabinet with the original lock, key and glass and all drawers with glazed, closely fitted frames, corked and papered internal bases. All on hidden bearer runners.
