A 1950s Smiths Gold Plated Pocket Watch.

Description

A 1950s Smiths gold plated pocket watch.

The watch has an English made stem-winding movement, with 15 jewels, which is working well.

The watch measures 50.9 mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The gold plated case is stamped Eclipce, This case warranted to wear 10 years. Made in England. The case is in nice condition with only light surface marks from use. The case back is inscribed Presented to W.Normington by United Transport Co Ltd in appreciation of long and loyal service 1919-1953.

The glass lens is in very good order.

The white dial is signed Smiths, Made in England. The dial is in its original finish and has faint crazing but otherwise it is in nice condition.

The watch has blued steel hands.

Price includes worldwide postage.
