Description

This large antique walnut pedestal desk is fantastic quality with fine carving all over & beautiful burr walnut veneers. It's Queen Anne style & I would date it to around the 1920's period. The top has three tooled leather inserts & the back of this desk is finished off as nice as the front. The graduated drawers are serpentine shaped, plus they have the original brass handles & locks. The shaped feet are solid walnut & also carved. Whoever made this desk paid a lot of attention to detail. The inside sides of this desk are just as well veneered as the outside. Please take a good enlarged look at all the images to appreciated the amazing features on this desk, especially the carvings.
