The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1950s.
The watch has a Swiss hand-winding movement with 17 jewels which is working nicely.
In the 1970s they started to import the various watch components from abroad but this particular watch is all Swiss.

The watch measures 32mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is gold plated and overall is in good condition with a little rubbing along some angled edges which you can see if you look quite closely, and some grazing on the side, next to the winding crown. The case back is stainless steel.

The lens is in lovely condition.
The dial is in super condition with just a little darkening to the hour hand. There is a day (English) and month (Swiss / French) aperture together with a date pointer and also moon phase. The buttons to adjust the day, date, etc, are on either side of the case.
The watch has a later brown leather strap.
