Dressing Table Mirror

1920 - 1940
Description

An extremely fine quality William IV mahogany adjustable tilting dressing table mirror stood on figured mahogany platform base with turned melon reeded feet. The mirror has turned columns with carved tulip decoration to the base and a melon reeded finial to the top. The mirror has a cross banded edge and retains its original mirror plate.

The mirror is attributed to the cabinets makers:-

Gillows of Lancaster

Width - 23 inches

Depth - 10 ½ inches

Circa - 1835
