The Gesso and Gold headboard is complemented by the foot board which is very low in the French style, this style of bed displays linens beautifully and it stands on delicate cabriole feet
The bed is in good condition for its age though there is some shabby wear on of the age darkened gold paint, the Bergère is sound
The bed takes a 4ft6” x 80” mattress and comes with a new pine slatted base, the head board is 32” high
