Antique Furniture Direct has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
In a richly figured mahogany inlaid with stringing (even the shelves have stringing). The interioris fitted with 7 pigeon holes and 2 drawers and the fall inset with green insert. A very stylish and high quality piece, in good condition, it comes with working locks and keys to the bookcase, fall and drawers. The locks are all stamped with initials – presumably a good maker from the late 19th/early 20th century.
