The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The watch has a Cyma hand-winding movement, reference 998, which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and was made by the English based watch case maker Aaron Dennison. The front cover has Roman numerals, in enamel, surrounding a small lens. The case is in very nice condition.
The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside, the lens is in good condition.
Blued steel hands, including the special hour hand for half hunter watches so the hands can be distinguished between when the front cover is closed.
The watch comes with a single watch chain, 29.5cm long including the T-bar and the clasp.
