The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1900s.
The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement is signed and it also has the serial number 17,876,688 which dates it back to 1909. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch itself measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop.
This case is slightly more unusual in that it has Arabic numbers around the small central lens, rather than the more usual Roman numerals. The case has some minor surface marks and an indentation to the back but overall has a most charming appearance.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. The inner lens is in good condition. The signed white enamel dial is in lovely condition with blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
