Genuine English Gilded Brass & Crystal Empire Style Chandelier dating from around 1900-1910. Very elegant.

This chandelier is dressed full of original large hand-cut antique crystals with high lead content (34-38%, typical of this period, as opposed to 15-24% modern crystals), which give you such a beautiful and dazzling array of coloured reflections. It has 6 arms each with one bulb, as well as 6 bulbs in the centre providing 12 bulbs in total.

This chandelier has been professionally rewired and restored to the highest standard using only the best components, ready for immediate installation. The frame is solid and has a lovely patina which would fit in nicely in both period and modern homes; it has been sympathetically cleaned and restored without losing the patina.

Salvaged antique chandeliers rarely come with their original hanging chain and ceiling rose intact. For safety reasons we supply our chandeliers with replacement solid metal chain and top quality cast brass ceiling rose with antiqued effect, which is custom-made specially for us using an original rose as template. The chain and the ceiling rose compliment the chandelier beautifully.

DELIVERY / COLLECTION

Delivery for this chandelier would be £75 to most places in mainland UK; each additional chandelier to the same address would be delivered at a cost of £35.

We welcome viewing or collection from S44 5RX, which is 2 minutes drive off junction 29 of M1. You are of course under no obligation to buy when you come to view.

PACKAGING

Unlike the more modern chandeliers; these chandeliers do not come apart for packaging purposes. We have to use strong large boxes and purposely bought high quality packaging materials. The larger or heavier chandeliers will be suspended on a purpose built wooden frame inside the box. They are packed with extreme care and we always send some spare crystals should any damaged during installation.

RETURNS

If you are not happy with the item for ANY reason when you collect, it's absolutely fine to cancel the sale. But we will not accept returns after you've taken it away.

For delivered chandelier, buyer pays return cost, and we politely request for it to be packed with our original materials to a similar standard.
