1920s Thomas Russell Full Hunter Pocket Watch

Description

1920s Thomas Russell full hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a stem winding movement which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is within 2 - 3 minutes over a 24 hour period. The movement is signed Thomas Russell & Son, Liverpool, 10 jewels, Swiss made.

The watch measures 51.5mm diameter excluding the stem and the crown. The gold plated case is The "Russell" model by the Illinois Watch Case Co of Elgin. U.S.A. The case has light surface marks from use but overall it is in nice condition.

The glass watch lens is in nice condition.

The dial is signed Thomas Russell & Son, Liverpool with Swiss Made at the bottom. The dial has a scratch between 2 and 4 o'clock, and also a short scratch between 4 and 5 o'clock. It has blued steel hands.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
