A rare oak Late 17th Century Westmorland antique settle. Having a panelled back with typical West Moorland carved detail and dated 1685. With open arms and an oak boarded seat, supported on turned balustrade supports united by beautifully worn stretchers. English circa 1685

Dimensions: 71" wide x 23" deep x 44" high (seat height 16")

Condition: This settle is in excellent original condition, un-touched except for two old mid 19th Century repairs to the back supports. A wonderful colour and patination
