A Stunning Quality Figured Mahogany Victorian Period Breakfront Wardrobe

Description

A stunning quality figured mahogany Victorian Period breakfront wardrobe. The stepped breakfront cornice above a central rectangular mirrored door, opens to reveal a fitted mahogany interior with mahogany lined drawers with gilded brass handles and mahogany slides. Having a further two rectangular panelled doors to the outsides opening to reveal hanging space. The doors all flanked by raised pilasters with finely carved appliqués. The base having three further rectangular mahogany drawers with the original turned mahogany drawer pulls. With solid mahogany sides, the whole supported on a breakfront mahogany plinth, stamped to the drawer J. Lamb for James Lamb of Manchester. English circa 1870

Condition: This wardrobe is in superb original condition, cleaned and waxed
