Description

Fabulous pair of exceptional quality Edwardian inlaid mahogany bow fronted wardrobes c.1910. Tiny differences in detail but identically proportioned. Both being bow fronted with a crisp moulded and inlaid cornice over two doors featuring beautiful oval flame mahogany panels within a crossbanded surround with inlaid stringing. Single drawer to the base of each, raised on bracket feet. With turned ebony knobs and shield shaped bone escutcheons. Solid mahogany sides and drawer linings. With a dressing mirror to the inside of the right hand door on one wardrobe, both retain their original hanging rail and sliding hooks. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
