Elmgarden has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
The Columns are decorated and reeded in the Greek style with scroll pediments, the paint is in acceptable condition considering their age and seems to be original, it has not been overpainted. The bases are very heavy and have metal spike in the centre which holds the column upright
The Columns are strong and sound, they are free of woodworm and have a multitude of uses, they are delightfully decorative each one on its plinth is 101” tall, ( these could be shortened) the plinths are 7” high, the bases are 10" square
