Victorian Silver Trinket Box and Ring Tray Set 1899

A rare and unusual Trinket Box and Ring Tray Set made by the renowned silversmith Henry Matthews in 1899. Both the trinket box and the tray are made from heavy gauge silver, and both feature a classical scene with a minstrel serenading two girls surrounded by a heavily embossed border.

With fully matching hallmarks and in lovely condition this extremely rare combination would look stunning on any dressing table, would make a fabulous gift or would add to any collection.
