Windsor Stick Back Armchair

Description

George III Yew and Elm stick back Windsor armchair on turned supports and united by a crinoline stretcher.

This chair is in superb solid condition, has great colour and patina.

The seat width is tight for an average man but ideal for a woman.

The crinoline stretcher tends to indicate this was made in the first quarter of the 19th century in Nottinghamshire or Lincolnshire, there is evidence of long dead woodworm.
