Description

An absolute gem of a box, made from a heavy sterling silver by Berthold Muller in Germany, marked 925 but also with an English import hallmark for Chester 1904.

The top of the lid is decorated with a pair of musical Cherubs or Putti figures. The lid lifts to reveal the full hallmarks to one side and a lavishly gilded interior.

Excellent condition, measuring 2" x 1 1/2" x 3/4".
