Large Regency Mahogany Chest of Drawers C.1825.

Description

Plenty of storage space inside this very handsome early 19th.c. mahogany chest of drawers c.1825. Solid single piece mahogany top with unusual serpentine sides and a reeded edge over four long drawers of graduated depth, the top drawer being divided into three sections. Bow fronted drawers with flame mahogany veneered fronts, inlaid with ebony stringing and retaining their original turned knobs. Flanked with large twist carved columns to each side which continue to the floor as turned feet, plus an inlaid and shaped apron. Solid mahogany sides. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
