The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1950s.
The watch has a Swiss hand-winding movement, with 15 jewels, which is working nicely.
The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Birmingham 1957 together with a maker's mark for the English watch case maker A L Dennison. There are some surface scratches to the case, commensurate with the age of the watch. The lens is in good condition.
The enamel dial is in lovely condition and the fleur de lys style hands are a very nice feature.
A new black leather strap has been fitted.
