Small Victorian Footstool by a Blain & Son

Description

An elegant small antique Victorian foot stool in ebonised wood stamped A Blain & Son Liverpool. The newly reupholstered square top standing on fluted and bead squat legs. Very solid and sturdy. Some small pieces to the feet (see photos). The cabinet maker A Blain was established in Liverpool in 1835 at 35 Paradise Street and were known for producing high quality pices of furniture throughout the 19th century.
