Victorian Silver Tankard or Christening Mug 1870

Description

This superb Victorian Solid Silver Tankard / Christening Mug of `Can` form has a beautiful geometric scroll and dot design throughout. It has a classical `D` shaped handle and is without inscription to the cartouche so could easily be personalised if required. Made by George Adams in 1870, in excellent condition with only light surface wear, this 145 year old tankard would make a superb christening gift or would add to anyone's collection.
