Really pretty pair of Georgian silver gilt berry spoons with fluted bowls with embossed decoration of flowers and foliage wiith very fine engraved detailing to the background sections and leaf and petal detail. Further matching cast decoration up the handles front and back and with an unusual band on engraved stars up the middle of the handle. Monogrammed cartouche to the front and reverse cartouche carries the hallmarks for London 1784, maker George Smith III.

They measure 8 1/2" long with the bowls 1 1/2" wide and weigh 112g/3.6ozt. Condition is very good with no damage or dents; some wear to the gilding as you would expect from age and use and a little rubbing to the marks.
