The Fancy Fox has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
1885. He has clearly had a colourful life but still retains a lot of character and condition could of course be restored somewhat should you wish.

He measures 13" high and 6 1/2" by 5" wide and weighs a hefty 1.8kg. Condition details: there have been some body breaks and repairs across the shoulders and to his front left foot; these could clearly be re-done by a restorer for a much neater result. Otherwise there are patches of glaze loss all over, some of the larger patches with a little wear to the body underneath. I think he must have spent some time outside to explain the surface condition. Please view all of the photographs which show all angles.
