All drawers with brass name/subject plates. To the centre is an adjustable pen stand with 3 revolving glass ink pots along with the makers name and patent information "A.Cutler & Son manufacturers patent July 22nd 1884, Buffalo, N.Y.". To the top of the edge of the "S" top is an impressed stamp "No.513". The 4 long drawers to the right hand side retain the original paper and card alphabetical dividers. The working area with a wonderful maple base which also lines the pedestal drawers. The base section with 2 oak pedestals each having 4 graduated drawers with maple lined slides above. Each side with 3 panels and the back with 4 panels and the whole standing on plinths. This wonderful desk retains the original working lock and key and when the tambour is shut all pedestal drawers are locked (central locking). Sizes:- Width...59.5''/ 151cm. Depth...32''/81cm.
