The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1940s.
The watch has a stem-winding movement, calibre 38.5L.T1, which is working well.
The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 47.5mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is nickel and while the front is in good condition, there are a handful of small indentations to the case back.
The plastic lens is in good order.

The signed white enamel dial has a faint hairline crack running from 11 down to 5. Breguet style hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
The watch comes with a charming single albert, 27cm long including the T-bar and the clasp.
