Beautiful Pair Antique Sterling Silver and Enamel Lidded Small Pots C.1910

Description

About as pretty as they come, this is a delightful pair of small cut crystal vanity pots or jars made from cut crystal.

Continental in origin, probably French, the lids are marked 925 (for sterling silver) together with the makers initials. The domed lids are beautifully decorated with engine turning below and the powder blue guilloche enamel in turn hand painted with a wonderful floral garland. The underside of the lids are lavishly gilded and one retaining the original packing paper within the lid! Neither look like they have every been used.

Dating to around 1910, they remain in excellent condition. Each measuring 1 3/4" in diameter x 1 1/4" tall.
