The Fancy Fox has dated this piece to the 1910s.
Celtic style pierced finger holds to the sides with split form loops falling to pointed terminals. Hallmarked for Birmingham 1914 maker John Sidney Reeve who was a member of the Guild of Handicraft. A beautiful quality item.
It measures 6" wide across the handles, 4 3/8" wide rim to rim and 1 5/8" high. It weighs 139g/4.5 ozt. Condition is excellent with no damage or dents and very light surface wear from age and use.
