A Gents Over-sized Longines Wrist Watch, 1954

1940 - 1960
Description

A gents over-sized Longines wrist watch, 1954.

The watch has a 12.68Z hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed Longines and it has the serial number 9,458,304 which dates it back to 1954.

The watch is a generous size for a 1950s piece at 37mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is stainless steel and it is in good condition. The winding crown is probably a later replacement. The inside of the case back has the Longines name and wings logo.

The lens is in lovely condition.

The dial has a little light marking but is very acceptable for a 1950s piece.

The watch has a very handsome later brown leather strap.
