Charles Nosotti, by Royal appointment to Queen Victorian, 398 and 399 Oxford Street, London, originally came from Milan and was primarily a carver and gilder, and his firm known as a looking glass manufactory. Records show he had settled in Westminster as early as 1831. He produced a Victorian marquetry side cabinet in conjunction with Howard and Sons for J.D. Allcrofts house at Lancaster Gate.
