A Good Sized Gents Certina Wristwatch, 1950s

1940 - 1960
Description

A good sized gents Certina wrist watch, 1950s.

The watch has a Kurth Frères Certina 330 hand-winding movement which is working nicely.

The watch itself measures 37mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs, so a really good size for a watch of this vintage. The case is gold plated and in very nice condition with just the odd minor mark and a thin patch of plate rubbing by the winder.

The lens is in lovely condition.

The signed dial is in beautiful condition with original elegant dauphine hands, a subsidiary dial and outer minute markers.

A later black leather strap with contrasting white stitching has been fitted.
