George III Mahogany Night Stand or Bedside Table C.1800.

Description

Very elegant small George III mahogany night stand or bedside table c.1800. ‘Tray top’ with raised and shaped sides and finger grips over a single door cupboard raised on slim tapering legs (with canted inner corners) joined with crossed stretchers. Excellent quality timbers with fine inlaid stringing and quarter veneered satinwood door panel, with pierced brackets above the legs at the front, sides and rear. Excellent condition, retaining the original lock, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
