Fowey River Antiques has dated this piece to the 1900s.
The attention to detail is quite staggering.

Measuring 53mm wide and 85mm long this is one of the largest pocket watches we have ever come across.
The chain is also solid 14k gold and is original to the watch, the initials inscribed on both are the same.

The watch itself weighs 130g and the chain 28g
The white enamel dial is totally original and unblemished with no hairlines, cracks or chips.
It has the serial number 247344 which is a size 18s 17 jewel movement, the run date was 12th Septemeber 1907 in Lancaster Pennsylvania with a run quantity of 1000

The movement has been professionally serviced and the case and chain cleaned and polished so it looks absolutely stunning.
If being a little critical there is an old repair next to the box hinge which is photographed but this in no way detracts from the look of the watch at all.
Overall this is an incredible pocket watch certainly the best example we have ever seen and very much a statement piece to be admired - one which collectors of Hamilton watches would be proud to own.
