Lovely Simple Irish All Iron Double

1900 - 1920

Description

Lovely simple Irish all iron double bed. Sympathetically restored including shot blasting, strengthening and adaptation of side rails to support wood slats (as sample last image)and hand finishing in Little Greene paint company Black Jack. Natural ageing within the iron . Decorative panel made of attractive reeded strip and and pretty decorative castings. Please see close up images for detail.

Bedsteads have been sourcing, restoring and retailing antique beds and bedroom furniture for over 25 years. We have our own workshops located along side our showroom in a beautiful medieval barn seven miles south of Bristol.
