Description

Lovely Edwardian silver inkstand with cut glass inkwell and integrated pen tray framed with gadrooned rims. Set on 4 charming novelty feet in the form of stylised dolphins with twists in their tails. Hallmarked for London 1909, maker Peter Henderson Deere. Marked to the stand, inkwell mount and lid. The base also marked for high quality retailer Watherston London.

It measures 3 3/4" high, 9" long and 5 7/8" wide. It weighs 546g in total, 305g/9.8ozt without the well. Condition is excellent with just a little surface wear from age and use.
