Burr Walnut Parquetry Top Sutherland Table C.1930.

Description

Remarkable little burr walnut parquetry top Sutherland side table c.1930. Just 23½" tall, it makes a 38" diameter circular table when open but folds down to 11½" wide. Fabulous quality with hexagonal pieces of burr walnut veneers laid in a honeycomb pattern with inlaid and crossbanded border on solid walnut groundwork. Turned legs in solid walnut joined with a burr veneered stretcher shelf. A few very minor repairs to the top, otherwise excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.

Dimensions: width 38", depth 11½"/38", height 23½".
